The ASA received 30 complaints in respect of a poster showing model and influencer, Eliza Rose Watson, wearing a bra top.
The complainants were concerned that the advertisement objectified women and was, therefore, irresponsible. Many complainants also considered that the advertisement was inappropriate to be shown where it could be seen by children due to the inclusion of the Only Fans logo, which is associated with adult content.
The ASA disagreed with the complainants, finding that the advertisement was only mildly sexual. Although some might consider it distasteful, it was not explicit and was therefore unlikely to cause serious harm or offence and had not been placed irresponsibly.
