D.W. Windsor Ltd v Urbis Schreder Ltd [2025] EWHC 563 (IPEC) – Successfully defended a patent invalidity challenge for D.W. Windsor Ltd, a leading British designer and manufacturer of lighting solutions. H.H.J. Melissa Clarke held that key claims of the patents were valid and admitted infringed. The judgment includes detailed consideration of the law applicable to identifying the person skilled in the art.
Rotam Agrochemical Company Ltd & Anor v GAT Microencapsulation GMBH [2018] EWHC 2765- Successfully defending a multi-million pound breach of contract, misrepresentation, and negligent misstatement claim in the Commercial Court.
Lilley v DMG Events Limited (formerly DMG World Media (UK) Limited) [2014] EWHC 610 (IPEC)- Successfully striking out a High Court copyright infringement claim.

Notably, the Claimant was awarded damages for wasted staff and wasted management time as a result of the Defendant’s breach.
