The ASA upheld a complaint against Grandbing Technology Ltd t/a Onfancy in respect of a product listing for a girls’ swimsuit. The complainant considered that the advertisement showed the girl modelling the swimsuit (who appeared to be 10 years of age or younger), in a sexual manner. On Fancy did not respond to the ASA’s investigation. The ASA notified the issue to the CAP Compliance team, agreeing that the advertisement was inappropriate and in breach of the CAP Code.
