Mark specialises in employment law and has a particular interest in restrictive covenants and the employment aspects of the purchase and sale of businesses and companies. He advises a number of fashion industry clients on employment matters and has recently provided UK employment advice on a European-wide reorganisation for a major international brand and on the purchase of a high profile retail chain.

Mark is responsible for one of the firm’s newsletters, Employment Update, and has contributed to the Institute of Directors’ booklets on Teleworking and Business Security, the CBI’s business guides Managing a Growing Business and Interim Management, and to the CBI’s The Growing Business Handbook. He has published articles on a broad range of employment issues. In addition he lectures widely on employment topics to lawyers and other. Mark is a member of the Labour Law Commission of the Union Internationale des Avocats.

From a personal view
Married, with two boys, Nicholas and Simon, Mark takes out his frustrations on the hockey pitch with Woking Hockey Club - "mens sana in corpore sano - but trying to keep the corpore sano is a tough job!" - and plays (or should that be tries to play!) golf; has been known to break 100 on a good day!
