Anna is a fully qualified UK and European Trade Mark Attorney. Anna entered the profession in 1998 following her graduation from the University of Wales, Cardiff with an Honours degree in Law.
Anna's practice has involved all aspects of trade marks from advising upon the availability and registrability of new trade marks, through to providing opinions on potential infringements. Much of Anna's experience has involved the filing and prosecution of UK and Community Trade Mark applications as well as oppositions. This has also led to proposing and negotiating settlement agreements. Anna also advises on overseas filing programmes, oppositions and renewal strategies and has considerable experience in prosecuting worldwide assignment programmes. In addition to trade marks, Anna has also been involved with design registrations both in the UK and at Community level.
Anna has worked with clients from a diverse range of sectors, including fashion, designer home products and high street brands, all of varying sizes, from start up companies through to multinationals. This has given her experience of dealing with a broad range of requirements to meet the specific demands of the clients.
From a personal view
Anna is fluent in the Polish language and spends much of her spare time involved with a Polish folk song and dance ensemble where she enjoys teaching the junior groups and performing across the UK and Europe with the adult group. |
